Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
Did you start singing The Byrds song “Turn, Turn, Turn” as you read these verses? The fact these words made it into a chart-topping song is evidence this poetry resonates with most. As we grow older, we can look back upon our lives and see the rhythms of circumstances and acknowledge there is a time for everything under the sun. As you read the couplets, notice some of them are out of human control and others are ours to determine. Take a moment to identify seasons/words that mark your life today.
