Friday—Matthew 5:38-48
The world makes provisions for those who have wronged another—in fact, often the retribution is “justified” by the standards of our world. But Jesus says his way is one of forgiveness and grace. If we are followers of Jesus, we respond differently. We do the right thing even when no one else is doing the same. Jesus’ way and Jesus’ rules are different.
