Acts 1:3-8
Merry Christmas! Today we celebrate Jesus coming as a baby. His birth marked the start of his earthly ministry that changed this world forever. I hope you have a chance to reflect on his great love for you and the sacrifice he made to enter into our brokenness.
Today’s passage picks up after Jesus’ death. In Acts 1, Jesus is quoted saying, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.” Jesus left us an incredible gift of power when he ascended to Heaven. The only thing better than having baby Jesus on this earth is having his spirit to guide us and help us every day of our lives.
