Genesis 3:21-24

Adam and Eve betrayed God. Although God had been complete in showing love and had given them the greatest peace and wholeness possible, they chose to turn their backs on him. The voice of a stranger was more compelling than the promise of their God. They took what was forbidden and everything changed for them. But God didn’t change. After the great betrayal, he went and made garments for Adam and his wife and clothed them. He knew the shame that came in the sin package, so he clothed them with skins from animals, another precious part of his world, and made sure they were covered. He continued to provide for their needs. He pursued them with perfect love and care. They sinned. He gave.
