Wednesday – Luke 18:1
Jesus taught a parable to teach his disciples to pray persistently. Jesus said there was a judge who had a problem. He didn’t know God or care about what others thought, but a widow kept asking him to give her justice from her adversary. Initially, the judge refused, but eventually, he gave in so she would stop asking. Jesus asked if this unjust judge gives justice because of persistence, how much more will God give justice to his chosen ones who persist in prayer?

Have you ever felt like you’d asked God so many times for something that you were bugging him? If so, remember Jesus’ words. Be obedient. Be persistent. Ask him again. Pray and don’t give up.
