Acts 4:32-36

My every birthday wish, star-bright wish, or dandelion-flower wish as a child was for everyone in the world to be a Christian. I thought that would solve all the world’s problems! I see now how naive and childish was my wish. Christians seem to have their own troubles, don’t they?

But what if we could live like some of the words of John Lennon’s “Imagine”?

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man

Sound like utopia or communism? It also sounds like the early church which was characterized by unity, generosity, and unselfishness, resulting in great power and much grace.
