Saturday
Ecclesiastes 12:14

This last verse is evidence of the wisdom of Solomon. In elaborated words, Solomon is saying, “Despite anything I have recorded in these books, all things good and evil I or you have done on this earth will be revealed and judged by God.” For me, this is a beautiful way to end this book. This statement draws the reader to humanity’s need for a graceful God, yet presents God as the righteous judge. The statement declares the need for humanity’s rescue plan.

“Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57).
