Sunday
Luke 23:32-47

It’s Memorial Day weekend. Tomorrow, Monday, our nation will remember and give thanks for those who gave their lives while serving in the military to protect our country and our freedom. We honor these fallen heroes because they made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Today, we remember and worship the One who died in our place to pay for our sin. Jesus’ death and resurrection make it possible for us to escape sin and brokenness. He died so we could have a relationship with God by surrendering our lives to Jesus. Thank you, Jesus, for going to the cross in our place.
