Psalm 69
The passages in Philippians this week warn against complaining. But often, we hear the psalmist present his troubles and worries to God. How can we present our complaints to God in the form of a lament without grumbling and causing more trouble? God wants to hear our hearts—we must take those thoughts and concerns to him. Often, we speak our complaints to one another instead of laying them at his feet. This psalm is one of lament as the writer pours out his fears before God.
