1 John 3:23-24
I have often been nervous to pursue someone with the intent of sharing the Gospel because I’m afraid I will say the wrong thing leading the person to misunderstand me, reject salvation, and spend eternity in Hell. Those concerns are only lies from the enemy. In 3:23-24, all I have to do to share the Gospel is laid out and how someone can accept it is shown—believe in Jesus Christ, love others, and obey God’s commands. This simple Gospel comes with power through the promise of the Holy Spirit in us. We don’t have to feel pressure or be nervous to pursue others.
How do you eat an elephant? ONE bite at a time.
How do you pursue someone with the intent to share the Gospel? Belief in Jesus and ONE act of love and obedience at a time.
