Jesus told the parable, then explained it.

Some seed fell on hard ground and the birds swooped down and ate it. How would you describe the heart of a person who has this kind of experience?

Some seed fell on shallow soil, grew quickly, then faded for lack of roots. How would you describe the heart of a person who has this kind of experience?

Some seed fell among thorns. It grows, but is very stunted. How would you describe the heart of a person who has this kind of experience?

Some seed bears abundant fruit. How does the heart of this person differ from the others? Which heart best describes your heart and mind?
