Titus 2:1-10
If someone were to ask you your definition of mentoring, what would you say? Would you describe a friendship, an accountability partner, a person of prayer, someone with whom to study Scripture, or all of the above? Mentoring can take varied forms, but the truth remains—mentoring is one of the most powerful means to disciple others. Through mentor relationships, followers of Christ can be authentic admitting struggles, as well as challenge each other to be more like Christ.
Have you ever considered mentorship? Maybe you don’t think you are equipped or qualified to serve as a mentor. A perfect devotional life, a thorough knowledge of the Bible, and an hour in prayer a day aren’t required to serve as a mentor! Ask God to show you if you need to be mentored or if you might serve in mentoring others.
