2 Corinthians 11:1-6

Both Paul’s integrity and authority were in question in the Corinthian church. In response, Paul determined to right the wrong attitudes of members. In this passage, Paul checks members’ attitudes toward sin. Paul says there are some who are committing adultery with a foreign Jesus—not Jesus the Christ who Paul has faithfully preached.

What is your attitude toward sin? Do you see your sin as simply a mistake God knows and will forgive again and again? Or do you see your sin as adultery against a holy God?
