2 Corinthians 8:8-9
Jesus gave up the privileges of heaven and came to this earth so we could know God in a personal way. While here, Jesus experienced life as a human. He loved people. He had good times and bad. He revealed God in a way previously unknown. He led people to know God’s heart. Ultimately, he endured rejection and suffering and death on a cross—all for us. He followed God’s plan. He literally gave up everything for you and me. What a generous God!
