Mark 10: 29-31; Mark 2:1-12
Life is short. Time here is meant for a greater purpose—God’s purpose. “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19). How does your life reflect this mission?
Consider the man with the pallet. Two things happened: His sins were forgiven, and he was made able to walk. Which was the greater of the rewards? The answer is clear in Scripture, but often people battle with this comparison. Remember, possessions that are attained will rot away. The only true and lasting reward is getting to eternally walk with Jesus.
Take a moment to sing these lyrics or read them aloud:
And He walks with me
And He talks with me
And He tells me I am his own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known – “In the Garden”
