Saturday
John 11:25-26

“I am the resurrection and the life.”

Jesus has already said whoever believes in him would not perish but would have eternal life (John 3:16). However, here he provides a little more detail, saying that even though a believer experiences a physical death, he or she will still have life—referring to the resurrection of those who die in faith. He also touches on the rapture by saying there would be some who would never die but would pass from this life directly into the next one. Once again, Jesus confirms the one qualification for eternal life is to believe his death paid the entire price for our sins. Jesus is resurrection life—he brings life to the physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually dead!
