Friday
1 Corinthians 13:1-13

This is the famous chapter on love. There are no better words to read and ponder as we reflect on family and friends that are like family. These close relationships are where love is tested and where love has the potential to be the strongest. Within family, we have to love in spite of all the little annoying things and sometimes beyond major trespasses. Marriage tests love in little areas and in large. Parents must love their kids through betrayal and disobedience. And children extend grace to their parents as they learn they are not perfect.

As believers, the way we operate within the family context tells the world a great deal about our God.
