Philippians 3:4-6

Paul had every reason to boast in the flesh. He was born into the nation of Israel, in the tribe of Benjamin, and was circumcised on the 8^th day. He trained as a Hebrew because of his devotion to the religion. He was a Pharisee by choice (the strictest Jewish party). And, he was a persecutor of the church. He was righteous and blameless by the letter of the law. Paul had every credential covered when it came to righteousness by the letter of the law.

What credentials do you have? Do you have perfect attendance at church? Are you a good person? Do you know the Bible really well? Tomorrow, we will read about these credentials and the dangers they place before us.
