Philippians 3:1

Joy comes from the Lord. It isn’t a result of our circumstances or our attitudes. We cannot produce it or force it by our own efforts. Joy comes as a result of our faith and obedience to Jesus Christ. Joy is a fruit of the Spirit. Just as a farmer is in charge of creating favorable conditions for his crops to grow, so we are responsible for creating conditions in our heart and in our lives for joy to spring up. What conditions do you need to set right in your heart and life today (examples: prayer, time in the Word, connecting with community, spending time in worship, etc.)?
