Monday
Psalm 116:12-14

As we consider our response to the generous grace and mercy of God in our lives, like the psalmist, we ask the question, “How can I repay the Lord for all his goodness to me?”

In humility, we realize we can’t. We can’t repay God; anything with which we would repay him comes from him. We can’t repay God because his goodness in our lives is more than we can imagine. God’s goodness isn’t just what he does, it’s who he is.

In response to the goodness of God, like the psalmist, the best Christ-followers can do is to express thanks, call on the name of the Lord, and fulfill our commitment to him. Spend some time considering God’s goodness to you. Respond in humility and praise as you call on him and submit your life to him today.
