Jude 24-25
As we worship together today, take some time to meditate on Jude’s final words. Take a look upward to the glory of God. Jude understands that much of what he wrote in this letter might be discouraging or depressing to the readers. So in these final words, Jude encourages the followers of Christ to fix their eyes on God, realizing the remedy to this apostasy lies entirely in the power of God.
Celebrate the fact God is able to keep you from falling. Celebrate that Christ’s sacrifice allows us to stand before God—completely cleansed by his blood. Celebrate our God who provides redemption and is worthy of all glory, majesty, power, and authority.
Jude is a call to arms for God’s church … so will you answer the call and “contend for the faith”?
