Hebrews 10:19-25
We are called daily to be encouragers to one another in all we do. In order to do this, the writer of Hebrews warns against neglecting the moments we have to meet with one another. This is so we don’t miss out on the opportunities to encourage one another to stir up love and good works. We were created to that end. Ephesians 2:10 says “we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” This is why the early church felt it necessary to reorganize their lives around their newfound freedom in Christ. They were known for how they loved, encouraged, and supported one another in Jesus Christ. The result was a transformed community God kept adding to each and every day. What are some ways you can stir others to love and do good works today?
