Thursday
Matthew 22:37-39, John 13:34-35

Jesus gives us three commandments in these verses. Notice they are commandments and not suggestions. Love God, love your neighbor, and love one another. The first one is described as the greatest commandment and the others are just as important. The bottom line, Jesus commands us to love. In fact, he goes on to explain this is how people will know we are his followers, because “we have love for one another” (John 13:35). Today, how can you love others in the same way Christ has loved you?
