Matthew 25:44-46
“When you refused to help . . . you were refusing to help me.”
The verb “refused” indicates a need was made apparent, yet the unrighteous person chose not to act on behalf of the needy.
I tell my son on a regular basis, “You are telling me by your actions that you are tired,” or “You are telling me by your choices that you do not want to experience this reward.” God seems to make a similar statement to those who fail to live generously: “Away with you . . . (for) refusing to help me.”
Is there a need you could choose to meet today? Do not refuse.
