John 13:1-38
Today’s passage is a long one—read it carefully. Notice anything? John has by far the longest account of the upper room, though curiously he says nothing about the institution of the Lord’s Supper. We have all the material we need in the other Gospels and in Paul’s letter to understand the full picture of the event. We learn from John most of our information about what our Lord said to his disciples on that night.
