Ecclesiastes 12:2-7

Life is vanity without God. But when was the last time you reflected on his guidance in your life? Since it can be easy to forget to reflect and carry on with the day’s mundane tasks, take some time to reflect now. Where is he taking you? What is God guiding you to do?

Solomon provides a humbling reminder of humanity’s origin in creation. Grasping the fact that humans were formed from the dust is a hard reminder that life is short and the time spent in it is fleeting. Because of this, it can also be easy to regret the day’s actions. But God does not wish that of us. With God’s guidance acting as your compass, carry on with the day, understanding the labor you do in the Lord is not in vain.
