Proverbs 31:11-12
A wife of noble character is not easy to find. Her value is great and she is treasured. In 31:11, the word for “gain” usually means “plunder.” In other words, the husband’s gain will be as rich and as bountiful as the spoils of war! This woman is capable and diligent in both business and domestic enterprises. The husband trusts her abilities and she is a gift to the entire household.
