Monday – Luke 11:1-4
The first twelve Christ-followers could have asked Jesus to teach them anything. They could have asked Jesus how the foundations of the world were laid or to explain the mystery of the Triune God. But the disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray. After all, they had a first-row seat to the daily rhythms of Jesus’ life and ministry. They’d witnessed firsthand Jesus’ spiritual habits and that prayer was his lifeline to the Father God.
What about you? Are you teachable? Do you want to pray in a greater way than ever before? If so, ask Jesus to teach you to pray.
