Philippians 1:20

Paul set a good example for Christians, both in his actions and in his attitudes. Whether he lived or died, Paul’s goal was to glorify God and share the gospel with those who didn’t know Jesus or were far from God. Putting your life on the line for others is not an easy decision.

Before he went, Paul wrote a letter to the Christ-followers in Rome. In this letter, Paul wrote: “I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship” (Romans 12:1). Paul not only wrote these words, he lived them.
