Philippians 1:18
Paul, as usual, saw the good in whatever was around him. We might say Paul was an eternal optimist. Seeing the good, even in bad situations, is an indication of the Holy Spirit bringing the fruit of “joy” to your life. If you lack joy, pray and ask the Holy Spirit to show you reasons to be grateful. Even in the midst of personal trials and struggles, Jesus is at work for your good and his glory.
