Philippians 1:15-17
In 2019, not all Christ-followers share the gospel. That’s a sad but true reality concerning the church in America.
In Paul’s day, Christ-followers were taught to share the gospel. Many shared because Jesus had changed their life. But some shared for the wrong reasons. How can that be? Some shared for personal gain, thinking it might improve their status with God or with their friends. Some even “preached” so they could talk bad (can you say, “gossip”) about Paul. Yikes!
A Christian’s job is to be a follower of Christ AND a fisher of men. Evaluate yourself in these two areas.
