Mark 4:30-34
Jesus tells another parable to illustrate the kingdom of God. He says like a mustard seed that starts small but grows into a towering tree, so too the kingdom of God starts small and grows exponentially. The disciples’ sharing of the gospel in Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria would eventually spread to the ends of the earth. And the small amount of faith in an individual’s life can grow to maturity, giving shelter to others.
How big is your faith today? Is faith growing in you? Because of your life, is the kingdom of God bigger? Thank God that he can use your faith and work, even if they are small, to do great things in his kingdom.
