2 Peter 3:1-4
Because God’s Word is truth, we must pay attention to it and take its message seriously. New believers need to be taught to study the Bible and basic doctrines of the faith for they are the primary targets of false teachers. Older Christians must also be reminded of the importance of biblical doctrines and winning the lost to Christ in anticipation of Jesus’ second coming.
The only way to truly ignite a passion for spreading the Good News of Christ is by actually spreading the Good News of Christ. Over the past year, FBC Lewisville has implemented an extremely successful evangelism training initiative of our members which includes knocking on doors of people living in a two- to three-mile radius of our church. Great Commission training sessions are available on Sundays at 4:30pm.
