Philemon 23-25
The five coworkers mentioned here are also mentioned in Colossians. Perhaps both books were written at the same time. In his traditional way, Paul ends the brief but beautiful letter.
Paul and Philemon are partners in the Gospel and now he has shown that he and Onesimus are also bonded together in Christian love. Paul stands between the two of them at one of the greatest pressure points the human race has known. Paul says in 2 Corinthians that he was “entrusted with the gospel of reconciliation” and this is what it looks like in practice. Where are you and I called to stand as peacemakers and reconcilers in the name of Christ?
