Nehemiah 9:32-38
We live in a broken world, the result of sin. By our own efforts, nothing seems to fix this brokenness. At most, we sometimes find a temporary solution.
That’s why God sent Jesus to this earth. God made an escape route from brokenness through Jesus’ death and resurrection. If we believe Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins and are willing to surrender our life to his leadership, then he provides the way to escape brokenness. We admit and turn from our sin and become his followers, his learners, his children.
If you make a home for him in your heart while on this earth, he has promised to make a home for you in his heaven when you die (John 14:1-3). “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13).
