1 John 2:3-6

Obedience is a test of whether or not we are living in the light. John says to know God is to obey him. Obedience shows God’s love for us is complete. Jesus lived in complete obedience to the will of God. As his life and light are lived out in us, we will obey God as well. Conversely, if we are disobedient to God’s commands, our life will show we aren’t in the light, God’s love is not complete in us, and we do not know him. What about you? Are you passing the test of obedience?
