True or False: Everything you read on the internet is true.
FALSE
We live in a world where we have true and false information in the palms of our hands (or on our wrists). Weeding through articles or tweets to find the facts can be difficult, but research is important so that we share what is real, and base our actions on truth. The same attention to truth is required at church, or when listening to podcasts, or watching videos, or at any place where the Bible is supposedly taught. We cannot be lazy Christ-followers who willingly accept a person’s words as long as he or she claims to be a Christian. According to John, the litmus test for anyone, especially a teacher, is his or her stance on Jesus Christ.
Do not be lazy today; “test everything, hold on to what is good.”
