Philippians 4:10
Have you ever struggled with penning a perfect thank you note? 4:10-20 is Paul’s attempt to thank the Philippians for their spiritual and financial support. He seems to have a hard time saying it just right. One interpreter entitled this section “Thanks, Sort Of.” Others have chosen “Thankless Thanks” and “Thank You, I Think.”
He has already alluded to this desire to express thanks in 1:5 and 2:25-30.
