2 Timothy 3:16-17

The word “inspired” means “God-breathed.” This is the only time this unique word is found in the New Testament. The inspiration for God’s Bible is not human thought or creativity (even though God used humans to write down his words). The Bible is entirely God’s idea. This book was God’s plan from the beginning to give people everywhere a chance to know him and his Son, and to provide the way to an eternal relationship with him. The Bible is a tangible gift from God himself. We can see and touch his Word. And in Christ, the Living Word, we have life!
