1 Thessalonians 5:1-3
Someone broke into our home several years ago while we were out. They took a lot of our valuables and we felt violated. The crazy thing about it was we had only left our home for about 30 minutes. Thieves don’t schedule their entry or give you a heads up they are coming to your home. Paul says Jesus’ return will come like a thief in the night. We don’t know if it will be today, tomorrow, or 500 years from now. For those of us who know Jesus, his return will be joyous, but for those who do not, there will be destruction and pain.
