Luke 1:57-66

Naming children is such a fun, although time-consuming, process. But when you’re expecting, you have a lot of time to think about names. When Elizabeth gave birth to her little baby boy, she already knew what his name would be. He would NOT be called Zacharias, Jr. or some other family name. Elizabeth and Zacharias were completely obedient to God. He would be named what the angel said: “He is to be called John.” Obedience is what God desires from each one of us.
