Update from the Pastor Search Committee:
Hello Church Family!
The month of August marks one full year of working together as the Pastor Search Committee. During this time, we have had countless meetings which have resulted in the hiring of our search firm Slingshot, the preparation prior to the interview process, receiving the first batch of candidates on Palm Sunday, and interviewing, praying, and deliberating over each candidate. On Sunday, July 17, we shared that we had released all of our original candidates. Though difficult to do, we were confident this was the direction we needed to move forward in. Very quickly, we received the second batch of candidates from Slingshot with a total of five candidates, and as of this update and moving forward, with three of them. A lot has happened in the past couple of weeks! We are excited and encouraged, and we are hopeful.

What’s next? There will never be a perfect candidate, but we will work till God has made it clear we have found someone right. In the meantime, we still ask for your prayers and patience. We’re bringing back the Prayer Guide to invite you to join us in prayer. These prayers and verses written one year ago hold the same truth and promise they did then.
