We are born into a family unit and we don’t get a choice in that matter. However, God has given us the ability to create FRAMILY (friends = family), your “chosen family.” We can choose to do life closely with others, in such a way that our friendships resemble family. These relationships are critical to our growth as individuals and it is important they point us to Christ.
Who is in your “framily”? Reach out to someone who has been a faithful friend to you and express your love and thankfulness. If you are feeling lonely or disconnected in this life stage, consider relationships you might invest in. Or spend some time praying and asking God to help you seek out relationships that will bring community into your life.
