Jesus’ kingdom economy turns ours upside down. The least is the greatest. To die is to live. To save our life is to lose it. In this verse, Jesus says if we chose to lose our life serving him and spreading the gospel, we will find it. Life lived out in grateful service and mission is life as it is meant to be lived. Jesus says anything less is an insufficient response and is a forfeit of one’s soul. So what about you? Are you truly living life? How have you lost your life for Christ and the gospel lately?
