Romans 8:14-17; Galatians 4:4-7
We are also connected to God like a child is to a father. Scripture says we are children of God. Children belong and are part of the family and, in this analogy, have an inheritance from their parents. Christ’s sacrifice made it possible for us to be adopted into the family of God. As his children, we are beneficiaries of his life and gifts.
