Preschool

Welcome to the Preschool Ministry of First Baptist Church.

We call our ministry the Everlasting Seed Co. because through every thing we do whether childcare, Bible Study, or our Wednesday night programming, we are planting and watering spiritual seeds of Faith. Our prayer is that one day your child will come to know Jesus as their personal Savior.

I am extremely delighted to have you and your preschooler a part of our dynamic ministry. We strive to make your child’s experience here a fun but safe one.

Please know that everything we plan and provide is done with the direct purpose of glorifying God and providing your child with the opportunity to grow in their understanding of who He is. We also pray that the experiences we provide will also allow your family to enjoy learning about and experiencing God together.

Please feel free to contact me with any needs, questions, or suggestions. Click through the links to learn more about what we do. Again, on behalf of our entire Preschool ministry team, we thank you for the opportunity to minister to your child and your family.

Everlasting Seed Co. Blog Posts

  • Preschool Bible Study Parent Connections for the Week of April 15

Book Recommendation: Several of you have asked for resources that show you how to use scripture to re-direct and instruct your children in different situations. Parenting with Scripture isn’t as much an instruction manual as a resource. This is topical and leads parents of toddlers through teens through a script to use during those teachable moments of re-direction.

  • "Writing" God's Word on My Child's Heart

I read a LOT. Of course in my line of work you have to, to stay informed and educated on trends, cautions, alerts and recommendations in the field of early childhood education and Christian education. Already this morning I have read 4 blogs and one snippet from a research journal.

  • Having Trouble With Some Selfish Kids?

Here is a family night activity you can try to teach a little about loving and serving each other. Taken from an “oldie” but a fun family night idea resource: Family Night Tool Chest by Jim Weidmann and Kurt Bruner Supplies: Small bag of Candy ( at least 3 per child) Bible Time with the family, Dinner or Weekend Lunch Do: Dump the bag of candy in the center of your table, or family room floor, or whereever you are gathered together. Tell the Kids you can take as many pieces as they like.
