Tuesday – Ephesians 5:16-17
This verse is best summed up as follows: “Quit Wasting Time.” The literal rendering of “making the most of your time” is “redeeming the time.” I prefer the following translation: “Buy up every opportunity.” The opposite of redeeming time is losing time, and what time we have left will be used for what purpose—for good or for evil?
The foolish, unwise person described in 5:15 has no direction or strategy for how to live amid evil times.
