Ecclesiastes 7:23-29

Our journey to be wise doesn’t always result in true wisdom. A “meaningless” life cannot be made meaningful by just attaining wisdom. Solomon admits that in his search for wisdom, he has encountered the sinfulness of man, and he warns us again to avoid the various pitfalls that arise in life. He acknowledges man was created by God without sin and has since lived lives that ushered in sinfulness and rebellion. The wise person fears God and seeks to honor him by living a life centered on the Creator.
