John 15:12-17

The Bible is divided up into two testaments. The Old Testament is about the law and man’s inability to obey it. The New Testament is about love and the newfound ability to obtain it. The love Jesus demonstrated is a love we must demonstrate if we ever hope to lead those around us to Christ. Following Christ is about establishing relationships, not following rules.

Lottie Moon once said, “How many there are . . . who imagine that because Jesus paid it all, they need pay nothing, forgetting that the prime object of their salvation was that they should follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ in bringing back a lost world to God.”
