Philippians 2:5-7
The rest of this week’s reading is another of the “signature passages” in the book of Philippians, verses 5-11. Many Bible scholars think these words were an early hymn of praise to Jesus. Whether they are sung or read, they are some of the most beautifully expressed theological truths ever written about Jesus. Take a few minutes, using these words or your own, to express your praise and thanksgiving to Jesus. And don’t miss Paul’s admonition for the rest of the day: “Your attitude should be the same as that of Jesus Christ.”
